At the moment, under the direction of administration of state historical-architectural reserve "ICHERI SHEHER", the ART group creates an ART garden - the centre of Azerbaijan fine and decorative-applied art. It will be located in the "Kichik Karvansara". The purpose of the Art garden is to demonstrate for the visitors all richness and variety of the popular handicrafts. In the cells there will be introduced a carpet weaving, shebeke, ceramics and the metal coining. The works of foremen will bear not only of folklore and also educational nature. We will see a special raisin in the dramatized process of creation when the spectator may join the work and to feel himself as a master. In the central cell there will be a gallery of the fine art. The Art garden`s guests will be accompanied by the arts critic who will conduct excurses on the history of the Azerbaijan art. The live folklore music will complete the impression and will put in a special color. On the territory of the comfortable yard, decorated with verdure, the guests will be served by tea with the oriental sweets. We believe that the ART garden`s visitors, the Baku inhabitants and the guests of the city will take away a feeling of touch with the national culture and will became aware of Azerbaijan place in the world civilization.
